From your first enquiry, our dedicated wedding coordinators will guide you through every stage of planning and be on hand whenever you need support. As your big day approaches, a wedding manager will finalise the details and ensure everything runs seamlessly. With our one wedding per day policy, you can relax knowing every moment is in safe hands. Wedding packages at RPH are highly versatile, allowing you to tailor elements to your unique style, from reception details and décor to food and drinks selection. Located just 5 km from Cork City Centre and offering ample complimentary parking, the venue is easily accessible for all guests.
Whether you’re planning a grand celebration or a more intimate gathering, we have three ballrooms to accommodate weddings of various sizes. Please note that our wedding packages are designed for a minimum of 80 guests.
Your journey with us begins the moment your wedding coordinator welcomes you during your first visit, guiding you with care through the early stages of your planning.
As your wedding approaches, there is a smooth handover to your dedicated wedding manager, who will be by your side on the big day. Together, you will refine every detail from menu tastings to crafting your table plan, ensuring everything is perfectly tailored to you.

Accommodation
How many guests can RPH accommodate?
We can accommodate weddings of 300+ guests and offer over 150 bedrooms, so your guests can stay on-site and enjoy a stress-free celebration.
Are there discounts on booking multiple rooms?
Rooms can be reserved for your wedding guests at our reduced wedding rate for the night of your wedding reception ensuring availability, ease of booking and good value.
Do you offer a Wedding Suite?
Recently unveiled in July 2025, our wedding suite offers a sophisticated blend of contemporary design and luxurious comfort. Enjoy the sleek, modern interiors complete with a private in-suite cinema - perfect for winding down or sharing a quiet moment together after the celebrations
Your Wedding Day
What is the typical timeline for a wedding at RPH?
We are completely flexible and work around your chosen ceremony or church time. Whether you prefer an early afternoon ceremony or a later celebration, our wedding team will help you plan a timeline that suits your day perfectly and ensures everything flows seamlessly
Can we have music during our drink’s reception?
Absolutely! You can avail of our in-house pianist to provide gentle background music during your drink’s reception, or you’re very welcome to bring your own musician or music arrangement if you prefer.
What time does the music finish and the bar close?
With a bar extension, the bar remains open until 1:00am on weekdays and 1:30am on weekends, while music can continue until 1:30am on weekdays and 2:00am on weekends.
If you have over 120 guests, the hotel will cover the bar extension on your behalf.
A residents’ bar is available until 3:30am in Suttons Bar & Bistro, ensuring your celebration can continue into the early hours.
Ceremonies
Are there additional fees for hosting a civil ceremony on-site?
No, hosting a civil ceremony on-site is included with our venue. There are no extra fees.
What happens in case of bad weather for a planned outdoor ceremony?
We monitor the weather closely and will discuss any necessary changes with you before your wedding. Thanks to hosting just one wedding per day, we can always accommodate your ceremony indoors if needed.

Are your wedding packages flexible?
Our wedding packages are thoughtfully designed to be inclusive, offering excellent value and ease of planning, while still allowing flexibility. Couples can personalise certain elements to suit their style, guest numbers, and vision for the day.
Wedding Planning FAQS
Booking your Wedding
How far should we book in advance?
We recommend booking 1–2 years in advance to ensure you can secure your preferred venue, photographer, band, and other key suppliers.
That said, we’re very flexible, we’ve successfully planned weddings in as little as eight weeks!
When is the deposit due?
All provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 14 days after which time a deposit is required to secure the reservation.
When do we meet to finalise details?
Your dedicated wedding planner will arrange a meeting with you three months before your wedding to go through and finalise all key details.
Your table plan will then be confirmed three days before the wedding to ensure everything is perfectly in place for your special day.
Wedding Reception
Can we bring our own flowers?
Our wedding packages are fully inclusive and cover all table décor, including floral vases, candelabras, tablecloths, chair covers, and sashes. Personal items such as bouquets are not included, so you are very welcome to arrange your own floral pieces or additional décor to suit your style.
Can we choose our own seating arrangements and table plan?
Yes, absolutely. Your assigned Wedding Manager will work closely with you to design a seating arrangement and table plan that suits your preferences and guest list, ensuring everything is set up exactly as you envision for your special day.
Catering
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Absolutely. Our experienced team regularly caters for large events and is happy to accommodate a wide range of dietary requirements, including coeliac, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and nut-free options.
If you have any specific requests or further enquiries, our team will be delighted to assist.
Can we customize the wedding menu?
We welcome the opportunity to show you first-hand how we can tailor our menus to suit you and yours, so come and join us for lunch and get a glimpse of what's to come.
Do you offer a Wedding Tasting before the wedding?
Yes. Your Wedding Manager will invite you in for a meeting to discuss your menu choices, after which you will be invited to attend a wedding tasting. This allows you to sample your selected dishes and ensure everything is just as you envisioned for your special day.
Are drinks included with the meal?
Yes, each guest will be offered half a bottle of wine plus a top up for the speeches.
